I have something to say [you have heard the saying before] and this is it: anything worth doing is worth doing well.
Please do not publish unedited books. Operate with the spirit of excellence.
Your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many generations will read it. Books live after their writers. This is about your legacy.
If you cannot afford an editor before you self-publish, please wait until you can afford one.
Because Uncle GQ , Aunty NC or Cousin JR speaks good English doesn’t necessarily mean that he or she is an editor who understands Chicago Manual Style, AMA or other styles.
Let There Be No Confusion
Your written work should not confuse the reader because of incorrectly used words, quotations, syntax or dicta. Your assignment requires order, not confusion.
As you invest in your elevation, you simultaneously invest in your legacy and build generational wealth.
PS. I have been in the book publishing industry for nearly a decade. I know the tricks of the trade, huge mistakes authors make that can be easily avoided and what you need to do before your book goes into production.
PPS. I don’t edit books. However, I do restructure manuscripts for coherence and help you publish with excellence. Ready to win? Click here
