Why You Need To Brand Your Message Under One Umbrella

May 16, 2014 Belinda Enoma Leave a Comment

brand yourself in one placePersonal branding can be difficult for the business person and talented individual who is well skilled at branding others. Modesty often comes into play and we don’t want to sound all high-and-mighty. However, if you can successfully help someone else brand themselves in business with all the right words and strategies in place, why deprive yourself of that benefit? Is it because you don’t want people to see you in a different light?

Now, let’s get down to basics.

When I first began activating my purpose and choosing which direction to follow, I had the same difficult issue. I didn’t want to sound pompous. The truth is this:

If you don’t see yourself as extraordinary, nobody else will.

If you can’t persuade yourself to buy your product, what makes you think someone else will be interested? It’s a human world and people will not release their hard earned money to you if you don’t have a viable solution to their problem.

So, if you are in the process of branding yourself in business, or as a speaker or just someone who has a message, how about you think about about what your message entails?

  • What is the overall message you are giving out to the masses?
  • Who are you?
  • If someone meets you for the first time and asks, “What do you do?” what will be your response?

I must admit it took me a while to get here and it was more difficult because of my diverse skills and background. I wrote about personal branding for multipotentialites a while back. It’s worth reading to get a clearer picture of how difficult it can be to stick to one thing and at the same time brand yourself in a positive way without people thinking you are nuts!

I decided to place everything I do under iStartandFinish.com because all I do is to empower, push, help people to discover who they are and activate their purpose in life and business without fear. It doesn’t mean that I only have one website. No. I have multiple websites that deliver different solutions but under one umbrella (iStartandFinish), you see everything I do and who I am.

My background is in law and also in informational technology. I am also a pastor, mom, wife, daughter and sister-sista. Whatever I do, the bottom line is this: I help you (individual or corporate) to start and finish with victory.

I believe that when your head is clear and you know who you are and what you should be doing, that’s the starting point.

Every CEO, leader or anyone in particular needs clarity first before embarking on any project. I help individuals and corporations start, run with a purpose and finish strong. For more information about what I do and me as an individual, read here.

This is my message to you: brand your message, solution and what you offer under one umbrella. Put them in one place. I’m not saying you should give up all your talents and just pursue one. No way.

All you have to do is think about your overall message and take it from there. I’m talking to you as an individual. Tie everything together and your purpose will be activated. It doesn’t stop you from being a serial entrepreneur (if that’s who you are) but as an individual, you have a purpose and reason why you are here on this earth. Activate it. Convert it to a profitable business. Live the abundant life and help others too.
