Experiencing a closed door right now? These facts about closed doors will shift your mindset. There’s no need to become upset or frustrated about rejection.

1. Closed doors are revelatory.

What do I mean by revelatory? Sometimes it is when that door is closed and just won’t open that you begin to see what has been available to you for a long time. You did not see it before because you were preoccupied with life situations.

Adversity births revelation. It is in the struggle that you see opportunities.

2. Closed doors can mean new direction.

If you experience closed doors in your business, it does not mean you should pack up. Perhaps your audience isn’t in that region or location. Perhaps your message isn’t clear and what you need to do is rethink your strategy.

There is a place that is assigned and allocated to you but you may just miss it if you are focused on that closed door.

Sometimes the closed door is a divine redirection that leads you to your next assignment.

In Acts 16:9, it was in Troas (not their original route) that Paul had a vision about the Macedonian call and got clarity about the call to Europe.

3. Some closed doors are part of God’s plan for your life.

Some doors are closed by the Holy Spirit. I realized it many years ago when I read Acts 16:6-10. It made me look back at my life and thank God for doors that didn’t open.

I was frustrated when the doors wouldn’t open but years later, I was so grateful because I realized that I wasn’t ready for the door to open.

4. The door closed for your protection.

Have you ever been in a situation when a door closed and you realized that if you had walked through, perhaps you would have been harmed?

Don’t try to manipulate the opening of a closed door.

Some doors aren’t meant for your destiny. Some doors if opened are destructive to your business, career, life, seed and generation.

Some doors are closed by God for your own good and no matter how hard you knock, they won’t open. The door closed to protect your destiny. The closed door is divine intervention!
