Make That Move Today

Make that move. If you don’t go, you won’t know.

Sometimes the brook (e.g. your source of supply for nourishment) will dry up and you need to go to another location. What do you have to lose if you move? What will you lose if you stay?

What will you gain if you move? What will you gain if you stay?

Two Important Lessons About Moving and Why You Should Do It Now

1. There were four men with leprosy in 2 Kings 7:3-4 and they said:

Why should we sit here waiting to die..we’ll go into the city–the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.

They needed to do something and just couldn’t remain like that, afraid and with nothing. Remember that they had leprosy; which meant stigma already and they ran the risk of being killed.

However, when they entered the camp of the Arameans, nobody was there. What they feared wasn’t even there! God had already taken care of it.

2. Jesus told the four men with leprosy in Luke 17:13 to go show themselves to the priest, and as they went, they got healed.

There is miracle in movement; blessing in movement.

Stagnation is not your portion. What are you afraid of? God has already taken care of it.
