One of the lessons I have learned in life is that opportunity has a time slot and if you miss it, there isn’t any guarantee that it will come back again.
It is important to seize an opportunity when it comes your way. You may even have to take drastic measures to get to where you need to be or see who you need to see.
The story of Zacchaeus in the Bible is a perfect example. He was of short stature and wanted to see who Jesus was so he climbed a sycamore tree. When he did that, favor located him and salvation came to his house that day. What kind of favor?
What Zacchaeus received was that Jesus noticed him. Do you think if he was the same height as the average man standing in the crowd, any attention would have been drawn to him? He did what he needed to do to see Jesus. He seized the opportunity and didn’t allow his stature to get in the way.
What are you doing to make sure the opportunity in front of you doesn’t disappear without you doing anything?
Fear has taken deep root in people’s lives. People are afraid to go to where they should be for reasons and no reason. Wherever you have found yourself, make good use of opportunities when they come. You may not necessarily have a blueprint to guide you but you must be bold and do it anyway!
