The Power of Storytelling (and How to Impact Your Generation)

April 8, 2019 Belinda Enoma 2 Comments

impact your generation through stories

Stories transform. Stories empower.

Who says you must have a sad story to impact your generation? Everyone doesn’t have a traumatic backstory. There is a story for stages or seasons in you life.

Do you have a happy story? Share it. You don’t need to have a sad story to attract or impact an audience. There is an audience for the place you are in right now in your life.

Stories sell. Stories educate. Stories reveal solutions. Many people would really like to know how you got from A to B.

What you think people know already, they really do not know at all. What you consider minute may be the answer to someone’s problem; but how will he or she know if you don’t share the story?

Many people need to be empowered that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel. Some need to know that the light must keep shining no matter what. Some just need to have a good laugh, after all, laughter is good medicine for the heart.

Some of the best connections I have made and even speaking invitations received arrived from me sharing a story.

The interesting aspect of these conversations was that I wasn’t even trying to sell anything but just having candid chats.

I was myself. I embraced the power of authenticity through storytelling and it has been helping people overcome their own struggles.

Be authentic. Serve.  Share that story. People need to hear it.

Question: What’s your story? It can impact your generation.
