The End Result of Procrastination

The result of procrastination

Procrastination.

What a word! To work with or be on a project with someone who procrastinates and won’t get his or her act together is such a pain. It leads to frustration.

I don’t know about you but if I put things off or postpone what needs to be done, I tend to constantly think about those things; then I write a long list of things to do and just looking at the list can give one a headache.

One Scripture that I have learned a great deal from is Proverbs 12:24 ESV which says:

The hand of the diligent will rule, while the slothful will be put to forced labor.

Slothful? Forced labor? No way. That’s not what you want for your life. It is synonymous with struggles, doing what you absolutely detest; working in a place you dread being everyday; a nightmarish situation in broad daylight. To be slothful is to be lazy, sluggish, dragging your feet.

A wise person does at once, what a fool does at last. Both do the same thing; only at different times. – Lord Acton

To get to a higher level in your life or business, you have to remove procrastination from around you and do what needs to be done, otherwise your situation will not change; the freedom you desire will not take place.

Don’t procrastinate because the end result of procrastination is zero.
