How This Old School Collaboration Method Grows Businesses and Saves Money

This Old School Trade Method Still Works

In my economics class in high school, I remember learning about trade by barter. This is a form of collaboration that is often overlooked.

The feeling of inadequacy has robbed many folks of receiving “collaborative blessings.”

For example, Ms. A has what you need to get to your next level but you won’t approach her or ask her to help you because you can’t afford her fees. Besides, you have a reputation to protect and don’t want to be seen as a “cheapskate.” Guess what? The old ways of doing business still work.

Try trade by barter. Be bold and ask for help, but in return give the other party something of value that you offer as a service. This is preferably something that matches the value of what you are exchanging.

Trade by barter is a cashless economical system that works. It is also very beneficial for start up companies who have very limited financing or little or no cash to go around. If you fall into this category, try it.

Trade by barter is an effective method of collaboration. You scratch my back and I scratch your back. Iron sharpens iron. We help each other to build.

Tip: Think about what you can barter right now that will help expand your business.
