When You Should Block or Unfriend on Facebook

September 22, 2014 Belinda Enoma Leave a Comment

When you create a Facebook page for your business or ministry, don’t tolerate nonsense.

Look at it as your storefront. Will you allow any rudeness in your store? Will you allow anyone to just walk into your store and insult you or even your customers?

If you are using it for ministry, look at it as your church. Will you allow someone to walk in and confuse the sheep God has entrusted to you? Would you allow someone to walk in and tell people that their wrong way is the right way when you know the God whom you serve?

Okay, I know you won’t tolerate it! You either walk them out, get security or call the cops.

So, CHERISH your God-given space on social media platforms. It is a gift from God to enlarge your territory, spread the love of Christ, uplift people or just to carry out your purpose. Use it wisely.

How do you walk people out of your social media space?
SIMPLE – block them. If they are friends with you on your personal Facebook profile, unfriend them.

You are too blessed to tolerate rubbish. You are going somewhere and you don’t need distractions, Sanballats or frenemies trying to tear down what you have worked hard for.

Have you activated the Facebook “block” button yet? If yes, why did you do it?
